This very night we must take an additional step before going to bed, or perhaps it is not necessary, but we must verify that all our clocks will be advanced one hour this morning to adapt to the summer schedule.
In the early morning of today Saturday to Sunday, at 2 it will be 3, and with it we will enter the summer time, and most of the electronic devices will update the hour automatically, but there are likely to be exceptions.
If you don’t want to get an unpleasant surprise tomorrow when you get up, it’s a good idea to check if your electronic devices have the option to “set time automatically” activated, so you don’t have to worry, since they will go ahead this morning without you doing anything .
It must also be made clear that the clocks old like some that we have on the table or on the wall, we will have to advance them manually, and it is convenient that before you go to sleep you advance them an hour.
But if you have a smartphone, a tablet, a game console or a smartwatch, it is quite likely that the time will update automatically, unless it is a very old device or you have previously changed the clock options and hour.
This is how you can check if your mobile phone will change the time automatically tonight
If you want to be cautious, it is convenient that you check that within the date and time options of your smart device, it is changed to “set automatically”.
- If you have an iOS device you must enter “settings”, once inside settings, you have to go to “general”, and then look for the “date and time” option. “Auto adjust” should be on.
- In Android it is very similar, and you must enter “settings”, but depending on the customization layer you have, from there you can change the situation of the “date and time” option. In general, it should be directly in “settings” or within “additional settings”, and in this case we must keep options such as “use network time” and/or “use the time zone provided by the network” activated.
In the vast majority of cases, all these options will be activated by default in your mobile phone.
