At its most recent Showcase, PlayStation showed off the much-rumored Q-Lite, a device that looks more like a Wii U than a Switch.
A lot of rumors recently came out indicating the existence of a new PlayStation portable device. Said apparatus would be namede Q-Lite and would be announced at the PlayStation Showcase in May. Well, the rumors were true and yesterday Sony announced with great fanfare the PlayStation Q-Lite. What is it about? What are their characteristics? Here we tell you everything.

During the PlayStation Showcase in May 2023, Sony introduced Sony introduced a new device codenamed Project Q. This new device is the much-rumored Q-Lite, a device that intends to play PlayStation 5 games remotely through a Wi-Fi connection.
This new device has a DualSense split in half with an 8-inch screen in the center. According to Sony, this hardware will hit the market before the end of the year. So far, the company has not shared its price..
Why are you comparing the PlayStation Q-Lite to the Wii U?
After its announcement, gamers realized that this new Sony device is very similar to the screen-control that came with the Wii U. As we mentioned, this new hardware runs PlayStation 5 games remotely, which means that it is not a new console, but rather an extension of the current Sony console. You will necessarily have to have a PlayStation 5 turned on in your house with a Wi-Fi connection to be able to play in Project Q.
