Veeam Software has announced an exciting integration: Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 is integrating with Microsoft 365 Backup through its backup APIs. This will allow customers and partners to access new backup, recovery, protection against ransomware and business continuity capabilities.
With this collaboration, the company seeks to offer Microsoft customers innovative data protection and recovery solutions against ransomware, so they can keep their businesses running fully and with confidence.

Veeam Backup Microsoft 365
Today, Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 leads the field in Microsoft 365 backup and is being used to protect more than 15 million users. This adoption shows the shared responsibility of customers to own and protect their critical Microsoft 365 data, ensuring there is no data loss across Microsoft Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, and Microsoft Teams.
The solution offers the lowest recovery point objectives (RPOs), a wide variety of recovery options, and the flexibility to back up Microsoft 365 data to any location.
Additionally, the addition of support for Microsoft 365 Backup will further strengthen these industry-leading capabilities and will be available to all Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 customers.
Availability
We are working on the integration between Veeam Backup Microsoft 365 and Microsoft 365 Backup through their backup APIs, with general availability of the offering expected within 90 days of Microsoft 365 Backup service availability.
