The Faculty of Commerce and Management of the Malaga University has presented today the start-up of the digital marketing agency ‘ComDigital’, which will serve to involve the center’s students in developing real marketing solutions for companies and organizations.
The presentation included the interventions of the Vice Chancellor for Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Rafael Ventura, the Deputy Vice Chancellor for Employability, Isabel Abad, the Dean of the Faculty of Commerce and Management, Benjamín del Alcázar, the promoter of the project, Carmina Jambrino, and the student of the Marketing Degree and director of the Agency ‘ComDigital’, María Jesús Azorín.
Ventura highlighted in his presentation the “special dynamism” that defines the Faculty of Commerce and Management, “where both the faculty and the students are highly engaged in all the activities we organize”. Likewise, he has highlighted “the positive impact that this generates not only in the training of students, but also in the creation of a quality university.” “With your attitude and commitment you are contributing to the creation of a first-class university environment”, he added.
The dean expressed his gratitude to the promoting team and the students involved: “The project not only improves the practical training of students at the Faculty, but also promotes a close relationship between the university and the social and business environment of the city.”
The teaching team behind this initiative, led by Carmina Jambrino, with the participation of teachers Álvaro Díaz, Elena Fernández and Patricia Iglesias, Its fundamental purpose is to promote the development of skills that improve the employability of students. “’ComDigital’ gives them the opportunity to transform the knowledge acquired into real experiences, campaigns and actions”, explained Jambrino. “With ‘ComDigital’, the University of Malaga takes a step forward by fusing innovation, creativity and employability, in an environment where students can apply their knowledge and skills in a tangible way, preparing for the world of work”, he added.
The initiative will serve, from now on, so that groups of students can develop creative and innovative marketing solutions for companies and organizations. The team in charge of the agency, which is led by the student María Jesús Azorín, describes itself as “innovative, creative, passionate and flexible young people”.
