Boyacá prepares to develop the First Meeting of Science Technology and Innovation
Agriculture, where universities, institutions and companies of the sector will meet, to publicize the advances in research and innovation in the field
agricultural.
During May 25, 26 and 27, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a complete academic agenda, which will include conferences, workshops and guided tours by renowned experts in different topics.
The Government of Boyacá, the Secretary of Departmental Agriculture, Agrosavia, the Pedagogical and Technological University of Colombia, Uptc, the Juan de Castellanos University Foundation, the National Open and Distance University, Unad, will be some of the Institutions that will share their research achievements and innovation in different areas of the agricultural sector.
In addition, Boyacá companies will present their results in investigative processes, machinery, plant material and inputs, among others.
The event, with free access, will be held in three different venues, each dedicated to a specific theme. On Thursday, May 25, the issue of fruit trees will be addressed in the Fausto theater of the Pedagogical and Technological University of Colombia.
On Friday the 26th, the focus will be on livestock and minor species at the Juan de Castellanos headquarters.
Finally, on Saturday the 27th, priority crops, potatoes, sugar cane for panela and climate change will be oriented at the National Open and Distance University, Unad.
This meeting, promoted by the Science, Technology and Innovation Committee of the Sectional Council for Agricultural Development, Consea, arises as an initiative to promote the exchange of knowledge, experiences and knowledge of this sector in the region.
