Lately Apple seems to be filing quite a few patents related to the Apple Watch, but mostly for its belta way to provide the watch with greater intelligent capabilities.
and the latest patent describes a new type of strap or bracelet for the apple watch which would use the power of the electrodes to more accurately detect the user’s hand gestures.
You may be familiar with this technology because the Apple Watch already includes something similar within the accessibility settings, which allows the user to stop alarms simply by clenching their fist.
This new patent is called “Gesture Recognition Electrodes,” and this new strap would allow the Apple Watch to detect even small movements made with the fingers.

The future of Apple Watch: on the strap
Manzana explains that this technology is necessary because the current alternatives on the market such as proximity sensors, cameras and so on, can be clumsy and very restrictive.
They also talk about other accessories that can be used for these purposes, such as gloves and different types of portable controllers, but that “are not socially acceptable” for daily use among the public.
It is simply a patent, an idea that Apple engineers may have for the future, but it cannot be ruled out that the ground is being laid for an advanced bracelet for the Apple Watch of the future.
