While we’ve seen plenty of examples of robot dogs before, they’ve now unveiled what would be the world’s first robotic dog to feature musculoskeletal limbs and be powered by artificial intelligence.
The invention comes from the Chinese company Hengbot which has presented your dog robotic Sparky and that he has the aforementioned musculoskeletal limbs that allow him to perform a lot of movements and tricks.
“This dog robot can run, jump and do tricks just like any real dog, and all based on artificial intelligence advanced”, and its creators add that “the canine robot is on a mission to blur the line between technology and life by developing machines that are agile and warm to the touch”.
They add that with their musculoskeletal limbs, “Sparky is a revolutionary innovation that closely resembles a living animal, as he can run, jump and perform tricks just like a real dog.”.

This robotic dog has a built-in camera and microphone so it can communicate with other humans and its environment, and it also offers open source programming capabilities to expand it.
A battery to perform many tasks
On the other hand, it has a battery that allows it to function at the top of its lungs for approximately 50 minutes.
The good thing about this robot is that it is capable of responding to commands, engaging in conversations and spreading joy to everyone it meets due to its special combination of technology and fun, its creators maintain.
It is a product that will be crowdfunded on Kickstarter very soon, and if it achieves economic success it will be put on sale, first for those who have invested, and then on a large scale.
