There may be different ways of taking advantage of artificial intelligence, and especially of ChatGPTand now a group of students in Cyprus have created a kind of robot teacher who can help in the classroom.
Specifically, students from Cyprus, they have created a robot of artificial intelligence that uses ChatGPT to improve learning in the classroom, and that serves as support for teachers.
“Humans are the ones who create and control AI, and it is up to us to ensure that its development and implementation serve the betterment of humanity.said the robot when asked if humans should fear the AI.
Referring to the fears that advances in AI may offer, its creators state that “we must not fear it, but approach it with care and responsible consideration”.

It is a small adult-sized robot that can only speak North American English at the moment, but can also communicate in Greek.
As you can see in the images, it has a screen for a face to express different facial expressions, and also a huge tablet to interact with. In addition, he does not hesitate to tell a series of mathematical jokes to liven up the classes.
“It could help in many spheres of life, such as education and medicine”, said chief programmer Richard Erkhov.
Another student rated this robot as “incredible” and that mimics human thought and behavior.
A good ally for teachers
On the other hand, the project coordinator and teacher, Elpidoforos Anastasiouaffirms that AInstein, which is how this robot is known, “can improve teacher instruction”.
In this way, students can go to the robot at any time to solve a series of questions dealt with in class by teachers, and also to illustrate different theories such as Albert Einstein’s relativity.
This invention is an example of how ChatGPT and artificial intelligence in general could be used in a good way in the world of education.
