The advancement of artificial intelligence and its application in different fields have meant a threat to several professions, since different companies have been announcing that, in the future, thousands of jobs will be canceled and will be filled by tools that use this technology.

Human resources or customer service seem to be one of the first to be affected; In the same vein are teachers, who according to Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates, could be replaced by artificial intelligence tutors in a couple of years.

And it is that the fear of professionals grows day after day, because Technological giants such as IBM have not hesitated to announce that thousands of their collaborators will lose their jobs and their functions will be carried out by tools or bots powered by these technological applications.of which its greatest exponent is ChatGPT, designed by OpenAI.

Precisely, a Goldman Sachs report, carried out in March of this year, left on the table a worrying panorama for the world economy and employment, since it indicated that about 300 million jobs are threatened by artificial intelligence tools. According to the publication, the professions related to writing and creativity, and hundreds of other jobs, are at risk of finding their replacements with the deployment of this technology.

What jobs will survive artificial intelligence?

Although it is true that artificial intelligence is very powerful, there are tasks that, no matter how much training is given, it will not be able to perform, which gives a glimmer of hope to those who practice it, because in other fields and sectors, luck is not the same.

In this sense, the French portal JeuxVideo cited Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI, the company that developed the powerful ChatGPT and who believes that there are 34 trades that cannot be replaced by their chatbot and other similar tools.

The jobs that ChatGPT would end with its improved version

As established in the analysis carried out in the investigation titled ‘GPTs are GPTs: An Early Look at the Labor Market Impact Potential of Large Language Models‘, the following jobs would have high compatibility with the new version of the ChatGTP AI and therefore could be performed by it.

  • market researchers
  • pollsters
  • Writers and authors
  • Interpreters, translators or subtitlers
  • Public relations specialists
  • mathematicians
  • accountants
  • financial analysts
  • Web and digital interface designers
  • mail clerks
  • blockchain engineers
  • court reporters
  • Correctors and copy markers
  • Mathematicians Blockchain Engineers
  • Court reporters and simultaneous subtitlers
  • News analysts, reporters and journalists
  • Legal Secretaries and Administrative Assistants

Nevertheless, the accelerated evolution of artificial intelligence has also opened a debate around regulation to which these systems must be subjected, since their development should be understood as the emergence of a new work tool and not a definitive substitute for the labor force that represents the human being in different fields.
