Softonic, the renowned software platform with 25 years of experience in the market, is in the midst of a transformation process and has taken an important step to strengthen its communication and marketing strategy by incorporating Raúl del Cuadro as Marketing & Communications Manager. Del Cuadro will be responsible for leading Softonic’s communication and marketing strategy globally, with the aim of boosting the company’s reputation, both internally and externally, and repositioning it in the technology market.
In this context of transformation, Softonic has a business strategy and a clear vision in which communication plays an important role. The company seeks to create a solid image and a value proposition that transcends its customers, employees and the technological environment. With the experience and value generated throughout its history, Softonic is preparing to define the coming years and position its brand as a benchmark in the industry.
Del Cuadro assumes the challenge of unifying and structuring the company’s messages, aligning the internal and external image, and highlighting the vision and actions that Softonic has already undertaken. Likewise, he will be in charge of defining the public relations strategy, managing and developing the relationship with the media and key stakeholders in the industry. As part of his role, he will work closely with external partners to establish relevant industry contacts, create communication materials, identify market trends and generate reports on topics of interest that help enhance Softonic’s media presence. In addition, he will plan and execute corporate events for external stakeholders, as well as the company’s internal communication strategy and social media strategy.
Raúl del Cuadro comes from the agency world and has specialized training in Marketing and Digital Advertising. Before joining Softonic he held the position of Strategist at Good Rebels Digital Transformation consulting agency for nine years. There he coordinated projects focused on Digital Business and worked with large clients such as Toyota, Spotify, Decathlon, Santander and Repsol, among others.
His professional career is complemented by his work as an associate professor at Nebrija University.
In the words of Raúl del Cuadro, “I am very excited about the challenge that lies ahead in a company like Softonic which, after 25 years, is in full growth in a sector as competitive and changing as technology. The company is currently in the process of cultural transformation and business diversification and a solid communication strategy must accompany the entire process to position the brand on the global scene”.
With the arrival of Raúl del Cuadro as Marketing & Communications Manager, Softonic reinforces its commitment to the importance of communication and marketing, thus consolidating its position as a leader in the technology industry.
