This was stated by the representatives of the main Spanish ski resorts in a conference held in Valencia, organized by ADESTIC, Turisme Comunitat Valenciana and Doblemente, a technology company specializing in the tourism sector.
The speakers have agreed that 360º sustainability, which covers environmental, social and economic aspects, is the only way to guarantee the future of ski tourism. On the other hand, the conference included a round table dedicated to alliances between online travel agencies (OTAs) and ski resorts, in which the role that operators should play before an increasingly disintermediated market. The participants have agreed that specialization and increased added value are key to differentiating themselves and attracting customers.
