Wayland Baptist University celebrated graduation on Saturday and several people from Plainview earned diplomas.
Thirteen graduates were from Plainview. Those individuals are as follows:
- Lizette Flores Garcia of Plainview graduated Cuma Laude and earned a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies degree in middle school mathematics. She led the benediction on Saturday.
- Richardo Flores of Plainview graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in molecular biology
- Deborah Lynn Basia Weiss DiSalvo of Plainview received a Bachelor of Arts degree in music
- Derek Isaiic Dominguez of Plainview received a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in digital marketing
- Dezirae Serna Guitron of Plainview received a Bachelor of Arts degree in criminal justice administration
- Edgar Rene Zamarripa, Jr. of Plainview received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in business administration
- Flor Cristina Pantoja of Plainview received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting
- Hannah Cardy of Plainview received a Bachelor of Science degree in justice administration
- KayCee Michelle Thiebraud of Lockney received a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in business administration
- Ashley D. Trevino of Hale Center received a Bachelor of Arts degree in justice administration
- Emily Madison Collins of Plainview received a Master of Arts in Counseling degree in clinical counseling
- Julia Sasha Franklin of Plainview received a Master of Education degree in elementary education
- Mario Perez, Jr. of Plainview received a Master of Business Administration degree in general business
