The candidate of Nuestra Tierra for Mayor of Ávila, Josué Aldudo, highlighted this Wednesday the need for the City Council to work to modernize the industrial estates of the capital, providing them with the most advanced technology, adapting the now obsolete infrastructure of the electrical network and improving the cleaning service that is currently provided.
In the visit that the Nuestra Tierra candidacy made to the industrial areas of Vicolozano and Las Hervencias, Josué Aldudo stressed that their modernization will not only favor the establishment of new companies but will make it possible for those that are now located there to maintain themselves, since they will be able to work according to the technological demands demanded by the market.
The candidate from Nuestra Tierra promised that all the actions that the City Council develops in relation to the industrial estates will be carried out in permanent dialogue with the business organizations and in response to any suggestions that they may make and are acceptable.
On the other hand, Josué Aldudo criticized the impairment of the economic and industrial development of Ávila caused by the breaches of the Junta de Castilla y León in the Territorial Development Plan 2020-2024. “We are in the year 2023 and little or no progress has been made, so I will have to demand that the regional government fulfill its part and materialize the promised contributions,” he said.
Other proposals in industrial matters of Nuestra Tierra are to support the potential of the capital and the province in the agri-food sector; strengthen the Office of Investment Attraction and Advice; and expand the supply of industrial land under competitive conditions.
