No more having an endless list of programs in the “my list” tab, because now you can filter it.
If you have been using Netflixwhether on the television or on your favorite mobile device, you will have added a multitude of documentaries, series and films to “my list”, a place where we have those favorite programs that we want to watch or that we are watching.
The problem is that after a few weeks, dozens and dozens of programs begin to accumulate in the “my list” tab, making it very difficult to find one in particular afterward.
This is going to end, because Netflix has announcedinitially only for the mobile application, the inclusion of a series of filters within “my list”.
In this way, we can filter all the programs that we have in “my list” by release date, alphabetical order, type, even by the date it was added to the tab.
Perhaps more interesting are the “not started” and “started” filters, through which we can easily find within “my list” those programs that we have started to recover them or that we have not seen anything yet.
This is a feature that Netflix users on Android should start seeing now, and that Netflix users on iOS will also see in the coming weeks.
Until now, when accessing “my list” in the Netflix application on the mobile phone, absolutely all the programs that we had added appeared but without being able to filter them.
Netflix does not intend, at least for now, to include the issue of filters in the application for televisions.
Other news to come
In addition, now it will be much easier to directly eliminate the programs that we have within “my list”, sliding our finger directly. Previously, to remove them, we had to go to the title details page and then point to the corresponding icon to remove it.
On the other hand, the Netflix interface will add a new row called “coming soon”, where you can find out about the documentaries, series and movies that are about to be released in the coming weeks or months.
Until now we could find this in a somewhat hidden tab, but it seems that Netflix wants to give it greater visibility.
