Comprehensive Ad Science (Nasdaq: IAS) today announced Wednesday, May 24, 2023 that it has received the industry’s first accreditation for Connected TV (CTV) video viewable impressions from the Media Rating Council (MRC).
Accreditation includes measurement of video-tracked ads, impressions, and related viewability metrics – including general detection of invalid traffic – in CTV environments (applicable to certified traffic only). “To date, IAS is the only company to have obtained MRC accreditation for visibility on CTV. IAS has also received accreditation from the MRC for impressions rendered on CTV”, states the press release sent by the company to the media.
Integral Ad Science has achieved these accreditations “after undergoing a rigorous audit conducted by an independent CPA firm contracted to the MRC, which included testing across multiple applications and device combinations to ensure its CTV video ad measurement meets standards. of the MRC for visible impressions”.
Thus, this latest accreditation achievement “is one more step in IAS’s commitment to bring transparency and quality to all aspects of the digital measurement landscape,” the statement said.
“The announcement of the industry’s first CTV viewability accreditation further cements IAS’s leadership in the connected TV space. The MRC accreditation represents the highest recognition in terms of quality and transparency in the measurement of digital media. For IAS it is an honor to be the first company that has obtained this accreditation for CTV visibility.»
