Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella announced Tuesday Windows Copilot, an artificial intelligence (AI) “personal assistant” for Windows 11. An announcement that he made during the keynote speech at the Microsoft Build developer conference held in Seattle, Washington, in which he argued that this tool will be able to increase user productivity and that Windows Copilot will be accessible from a sidebar.
This new tool will open up a world of new applications and functions. Specifically, the new “personal assistant” can summarize, rewrite or explain the content you are viewing in an application or web, as well as answering questions that the end user may have.
For his part, the director of Windows and devices at Microsoft, explained in a statement published today that “once opened, Windows Copilot sidebar stays pinned in all your applications, programs and windows, always available to act as a personal assistant”.
