In addition to unlimited streaming access to the entire Universal catalogue, HP Connected Music offers its users the possibility of accessing presentations, live performances, musical experiences and VIP travel packages, in the company of some of the main artists of Universal Music.
New users of HP computers with Windows 8 will have unlimited access to HP Connected Music for 90 days. In addition, those who purchase an HP Specter or HP Envy with Windows 8 will have 10 free downloads per month during the 90-day trial. To continue enjoying the service once the 90-day period has ended, a monthly subscription fee must be paid for an amount yet to be determined, although it is speculated that it could be around 10 euros. This new service is positioned as direct competition from platforms such as Spotify, although without the popular free subscription option.
