Today it is time to focus on the latter, which is the simplest of all, since it does not require any prior management.
Of course, to be able to enter your personal area and carry out all the pertinent procedures, it is necessary to obtain the data that is hidden in box 505 of the Income of the previous year. It is an essential element to be able to obtain the reference number and thus be able to access the draft.

What is the reference number
The reference number is a code made up of 6 completely random letters and numbers. that allows you to carry out all the procedures related to the Income campaignincluding access to the draft.
It is one of the 3 possible access methods to access the Tax Agency portal and differs from the other 2 in that you need to have your DNI handy and the data from box 505 of the Income of the previous year.
How to obtain the data from box 505 of the Income Tax
To obtain the data from box 505, you will need to have last year’s income statement at hand, that is, the 2021/2022 Income.
Until a few years ago you could have a saved reference number that was used to do business with the agency, but for this year, the Tax Agency has said that is no longer valid and you need to get a new one.
It is because of that you will need again the number that is hidden under the section 505which corresponds to the tax base subject to the taxpayer’s tax.
If you have it physically, there is no problem. Just find the box and save the data for later. If this is not the case, you can always get it from the agency’s website.
For it, Access the Treasury website and enter your personal area. Now click on my files and indicate the way you want to act. In this case it is surely in his own name.
In the next window, look at the bottom and click on the section Consult declarations presented.

In the search engine, worry about filling in the box Model where you must put the Model 100 that corresponds to the Income statement and change Exercise to 2021. When you have this, give Look for.
At the bottom, the declaration will appear and you must click on the option See under Obtaining proof.

A summary of last year’s tax return will open in a new window and you just have to go down to page 4 and look at the general taxable base and savings taxable base section.
In this section, in the third line, you will be able to obtain the data from box 505.
How to obtain the reference number to access the 2022/2023 Income draft
With the data from box 505 in your possession, you can obtain the reference number to be able to access the draft of the Income statement.
Yes indeed, you will have to wait for the campaign to start on April 11, but you can always learn how to do it so you don’t have problems when the appointed date arrives.
The first step is to enter this Treasury page and enter your ID, as well as the expiration date. When you have it, hit Continue.

In the next window you will see 3 very simple options.
The one that interests you is the one that prays Obtain reference with Box 505.

Now, simply, enter the data of the box that you should already have on hand.
Finally click on Get reference.

If the information is correct, you will see your reference number appear that you can use later to access the draft of your Income Tax return and use it for whatever you need.
Treasury explains that it is advisable to write it down and keep it for later usebut if you lose it, you can always request a reference number again without problems up to ten times a day.
