The head of the municipal list, accompanied by several fellow candidates, has attended to the citizens who this morning have come to the podemita information table, located on the porches of Plaza Luis López Allué. From there, he has addressed the media to state, among other matters, ‘The clear commitment of my party to draw up a Master Plan for the Old Town, which includes previous plans and actions that have not been carried out (Plan de the Cathedral, Círculo Católico…) and that focuses on the rehabilitation and use of heritage, as well as investing in this part of the city abandoned for too many years’, referring to the Old Town.
In addition, he has highlighted that many of the city’s tourist potentials are not used as they could be, from the gastronomy and its Michelin stars, to the tremendous archaeological and monumental heritage, which on many occasions rests eternally on uncared-for lots, to others more specific and not taken into account, such as nature or ornithological tourism, that of vans and motorhomes…
One of the specific measures broken down in the program is to develop an augmented reality project or other virtual visit systems, so that they serve as a complement to the physical visits that are carried out, for example, within the existing project ‘Huesca Medieval ‘, explained Boix.
Not only has he referred to the use of heritage for tourism, since he has also recalled his commitment to continue the collaboration between the City Council and the associations that work for the recovery of the Historical Memory, to articulate solutions to all their demands in the matters that fall under municipal jurisdiction.
