Apple made the first beta of iOS 16.5 available to developers and public testers last week, and so far only two new features and changes have been discovered for the iPhone, which is a bit of a disappointment for all those users who were expecting news.
iOS 16.5 should be released publicly in May, and more features may be added in later beta versions. To test the beta you have to sign up for the $99/year Apple Developer Program or the free Apple Beta Software Program.
It has merit that Manzana It has managed to get its customers to pay to be in the iOS developer program, but this is the American brand, the best selling products and services.
We’ll see the two changes coming to iOS 16.5 in the beta And if we wait for future news that will convince users for the summer.
Sports tab in Apple News
Apple has added a Sports tab to the News app in iOS 16.5, giving you easy access to news, scores, and schedules for your favorite teams and leagues.
This information was previously available in the Today tab, but now appears more prominently, as Apple continues to deepen sports content in all its services.

Screen recordings via Siri
A handy little feature added with iOS 16.5 is the ability to ask Siri to start a screen recording. You can say “Hey Siri, start a screen recording” to record a video of your iPhone’s screen, and ask Siri to stop recording whenever you want.
You can still start a screen recording via Control Center after turning on the feature in Settings and then Control Center. That simple and that practical is the new tool.
Conclusion: iOS 16.5 appears to be a minor update so far, which isn’t too surprising given that Apple will be unveiling iOS 17 at WWDC in June. Before iOS 16.5, Apple is preparing to release iOS 16.4.1, likely with bug fixes and security improvements.
