Elon Musk announces a name and logo change for Twitter which is now renamed “X”.
Since Twitter was acquired by Elon Musk, we have seen changes in the social network that arouse philias and phobias. The Tesla owner has his own vision of the social network and the changes that have been applied in recent weeks are in this sense. But it seems that the changes are not going to stop because the social network as we know it is about to be history.
Elon Musk has recently announced the new name and logo of the social network. Hello X. Goodbye Twitter. The changes are about to take place and in fact, x.com already redirects to twitter.com and the new logo and name based on the letter X are about to replace the mythical bird.

Twitter is about to undergo one of its biggest changes
Elon Musk, in a series of tweets at midnight yesterday, announced the rebranding of Twitter, to ‘X’. This term has become a constant in the names of its companies and products. Hence the main reason for this change of branding.
The start of all this began with the following statement from Musk: “soon we will say goodbye to the Twitter brand and, gradually, to all the birds”. And he expanded the stage with another tweet that said: “if a good enough X logo is released tonight, we’ll make it the new logo for the social network tomorrow”.
Besides, Musk participated in a Twitter Spaces session called “Nobody talks until we summon Elon Musk.” She remained silent for almost an hour before announcing that the Twitter logo would be changing the next day and that they were “removing the Twitter logo from the building with torches.”
It seems that this change is a firm decision because the owner of Twitter has completely changed his profilel, modifying his photo with the new logo, his bio with the new website as well as a GIF showing the new brand that is now his pinned tweet. Employees have already been notified by Musk, so we’ll see the changes later today.
Update | Twitter officially changes its logo

for now, it is still possible to find many mentions of Twitter and other concepts associated with the old name in various parts of the social network. It is to be expected that the company will carry out the necessary modifications as the hours go by, until it ends once and for all with the old brand.
