Your tablet’s home screen usually contains a number of apps and widgets by default, but soon you’ll want to customize this space to increase its efficiency and make it look the way you want. Do you dare to do it now? It is very simple!
organize the start
The main screen of your tablet will include a selection of apps and widgets in a default layout. To rearrange them, touch and hold the icon. This will activate the placement grid. Now drag the icon to the place you like best.
To another screen
The tablets have a series of screens and going from one to the other is very simple. Hold the icon until the grid appears and drag it to the edge of the tablet, wait for the new screen to appear, and drop it there.
Remove useless icons
If you no longer use an app or widget, it’s best to remove it from the current screen. Hold until the delete option appears at the top of the screen. Drag it over it and that’s it.
Add an app
The apps are managed with the app screen. Tap the Apps icon until you see the current selection or swipe right/left to see more. Drag the app to the screen you want.
In the previous step, when you hold an app, a link to the app’s information appears at the top of the screen. Without letting go of the app, drag it over the link and you will see its information.
Add a widget
Touch the Apps icon and swipe left to open the widgets screen. Swipe left again to see more widgets (if any). To add a widget, touch and hold the selected widget. You will be taken to the main screen, where you can drop the widget.
If a selected widget has no options, simply drag it into place. If you have options, such as bookmarks, a window will appear with the available options. Tap on the option you want to complete the widget.
widget with options
An example of options widget is Directions. Touch, hold and release when the main screen appears. This allows you to add name, address, etc. Fill in what you need.
