Among them, those interested can choose options such as cognitive stimulation, new technologies and music, all aimed at promoting an active and healthy life, as well as improving proximity spaces, interpersonal relationships, artistic abilities and learning. of new skills.
The courses and workshops are annual
The courses and services are annual. Likewise, the catalog is found in digital format on the municipal website; and this year the offer is extended to the new Mayor Manuel Mateo López Center for the Elderly, which increases the number of places available to 2,129.
Along with cognitive stimulation, technology and music, those interested can also find thematic blocks such as literature, creativity, art, physical activity and personal growth.
On the other hand, among the services offered by the Sanse City Council, are orientation and counseling social work, legal support, psychogerontological support and support for frailty. It also has a social revitalization department, in which various proposals are developed, including excursions and leisure activities, “peer-to-peer” volunteering or the loan of board games, among others.
Online and face-to-face registration
To participate in the activities, it is necessary to make a prior registration, whose period will open on May 29 and will close on June 9, and can be done in person at the Gloria Fuertes Center and it is necessary to make an appointment at the Center’s Concierge. In addition, with each number a maximum of two applications may be submitted.
Those who wish, may register by mail, including the name and surname of the applicant, the number of the Center’s User Card, the DNI or the Residence Card and the activities to which they wish to sign up, sending all this to the address infomayores @ssreyes.org.
The places for the activities will be awarded by public draw, which will take place on June 12 at 9:00 a.m. in the Assembly Hall of the Gloria Fuertes Center. On the other hand, the lists of those admitted will be published on June 16, also from 9:00 a.m., at the entrance to the center itself and on the municipal website.
Finally, registration can be made from June 19 to 30, also requiring a prior appointment. The choice of the schedule of the awarded activity will be made in strict order of arrival.
