Cloudera has announced an expansion of its Open Data Lakehouse offer, with Apache Iceberg, which will allow its clients to have a solid infrastructure of analytical and AI capabilities in their organizations to manage all their data in the cloud and, from now on, also ‘on premise’.
“Large companies want to get business value from all their data using AI and analytics. This announcement of support for Apache Iceberg in private clouds means that our Open Data Lakehouse continues to improve,” said Ram Venkatesh, Cloudera Global CTO.
Apache Iceberg in the private cloud
Apache Iceberg plays a critical role in the Open Data Lakehouse ecosystem. With this implementation, large language models can now take advantage of the vast amount of data managed by Cloudera, meaning more data can be accessed and used more extensively by more users within the organization.
Cloudera Data Platform (CDP) is the foundation that provides secure and fast access to trusted business artificial intelligence, thanks to its advanced Open Data Lakehouse that allows the latest artificial intelligence models to be deployed using data hosted in any location.
