The Town Hall of Center inaugurated the second stage of the “Villahermosa de Ayer y Hoy” project, which consists of informative plaques installed in the city where tourism promotion of real estate and historical sites is given through codes QR.
This Wednesday, five lecterns with their respective code were opened to the public QR which, when scanned with a smartphone, will display an augmented reality animation of the tourist site.
Ángel Mario Zurita del Rivero, deputy director of Tourism of Center He pointed out that this continuation of the project took into account the Parish of the Immaculate Conception of María, the Pino Suárez market, the Carlos Pellicer Cámara House-Museum, the Portales de Villahermosa and what was the headquarters of the old State Bank.
The official said that the resource implemented is minimal, because it is carried out in conjunction with Tourism of the State.
“Today the prints were placed and once the QRs are digitally activated, tourists will be able to live the experience from their cell phones and will be able, apart from seeing, what the property is from a 3D vision and what It has been through time, it tells a story and a narrative of what is the property for culture in the State”, he pointed out.
He indicated that maintenance was given to the structures that were damaged by weather conditions.
He highlighted that, according to last April alone, more than 4,000 people visited the points of the first stage: the Government Palace, the Center Cultural Villahermosa, Los Pajaritos Park and the old Puerto Escondido Alley.
“First we worked to consolidate the first stage, at the beginning of this year we worked to generate the second stage, maintenance was given to the first stage, then the points were decided, the lecterns were placed and once the digital program was finished we proceeded to paste the impressions of what the QR models are”, he added.
Finally, he explained that they will analyze a third stage in the Center Historic or some other important tourist site in the city of Villahermosa.
