The evolution of technology reaches financial advice. The fund manager Vanguard indicated that Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a tool that comes to add to the financial market and that it will be key to leverage the investing public.
During the Pioneros GBM advisor event, Pablo Bernal, director of the wealth segment for Latin America, explained that although the use of AI is still developing, it represents an opportunity to boost financial advice and at the same time increase the number of investors.
Bernal explained that currently financial advice should be focused on offering financial coaching, since understanding emotions when investing is key to understanding the goals and actions that an investor can carry out, he explained that in the face of a crisis in the markets, advice, AI can make a difference in an investor’s portfolio.
The study carried out by Vanguard indicated that the approach of greater departure by behavioral finance when advising adds greater added value when generating portfolio or investment strategies.
