A furious resident of the Hungarian town of Balatonöszöd broke, with a metal pitchfork, the Google car camera that was taking pictures on the streets of the town for the American giant’s Street View tool.
When the Google car was driving through the streets of the municipality, located next to Lake Balaton, a 51-year-old man forced the vehicle to stop for being against his neighborhood being photographed and, after a brief discussion with the driver, destroyed the camera with the gallows, the local portal Sonline.hu reported today.
The police have arrested the man accused of vandalism.
Do they delete the incident?
As the portal indicates, the scene itself will surely not appear on the 360-degree virtual map that allows you to visit more than a hundred countries in the world.
Street View turns 16 this month and today it not only facilitates virtual walks through the streets of distant places, but also allows you to “enter” remotely in shops, museums and restaurants.
