Despite the hectic year 2022 for the technology sector, especially within the cryptocurrency sector, due to the macroeconomic scenario in which, according to reports, specifically in Spain, its market contracted by 6%, the development and search for use and application of the technology that is behind the cryptos, is increasing more and more, even positioning the Iberian country as one of the main ones in the European Union with the greatest development of blockchain, and application by its companies.
Likewise, the metaverse promoted by Zuckerberg, the current ‘boom’ of artificial intelligence, decentralized investment in cryptoactives, the new collection modality through NFTs make up the new nature that technological development draws on us, scenarios and utilities that seem of the future, but they are not so far in time.
In this maelstrom of innovation, The Startup Valencia organization considers that blockchain technology represents one of the biggest transformations that the Internet has undergone in recent years. In their opinion, they believe that its application extends to practically all areas and its benefits fit perfectly with the historical demands of users: decentralization, security and traceability.
In this sense, they wanted to highlight how from their town they have formed a reference hub in the field of blockchain, bringing together the main startups that make use of this technology in a cluster of specialized companies. “One more example of the union that our ecosystem has in its common desire to turn the Valencian Community into the best region to undertake”, they highlighted.
In context, the call ‘Startup Valencia’s Blockchain Hub’, which is not yet a year old, has already exceeded fifty linked companies, therefore, it has shared a selection of Valencian blockchain startups.
